HISTORY
 Walnut Park Montessori School promises to provide an environment that
nurtures the child's natural love for learning. The school is sponsored by
the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston (CSJ's) who seek to promote love of
God and love of the "dear neighbor" in a spirit of unity and reconciliation.
As a sponsored ministry, Walnut Park Montessori School seeks to provide
a place where children between the ages of 2.9 through age 6 are nurtured
spiritually, cognitively, socially, academically, emotionally and physically.
Our Mission is to create an environment that fosters and serves each child
individually while promoting a sense of community within a classroom
setting. We are committed to excellence in education by fostering an
atmosphere of independence, discovery, exploration, critical thinking and
peace making. At Walnut Park Montessori School we value diversity among
our children, both in their interests and personalities and in their ethnic,
religious and socioeconomic backgrounds.
